HmI hadn’t considered the plainly simple ways Google thinks. The truth of the affair is that while a spider “indexes” your page abundant times, it still takes a metric tonne of work on your part to get a site to become interesting to the spiders. This lends to my knowledge of search engine optimization!
Google alerts has nothing to do with the popularity of a site. When the google bot finds your listed keyword or keyword phrase, it will alert you. There is no relation with search engine optimization and google alerts.
