Building a social media campaign doesn’t mean creating the profiles, finding some people to follow you and then stopping. If you want to be truly successful, you have to work at it daily. It doesn’t take a lot of time, and the benefits will amaze you.
Twitter
Go through your feed and find 5 things to retweet.
Reply to anything in your inbox. If there is a large number, then try to catch up during the week.
Follow back 10 people that have followed you.
Facebook
Check birthdays and wish everyone a happy birthday. If their birthday falls on the weekend, make sure you leave your message on Friday.
Reply to any comments on your wall.
Post a status message that is something engaging or interesting.
Comment on at least 5 of your friends status messages.
Join a group or fan page and leave a comment or two on each page.
LinkedIn
Accept any invitations that people have sent to you.
Enter all business cards that you have collected and invite them to LinkedIn .
Recommend anyone on your contact list that you have done business with.
Ask people to recommend you.
Answer any questions that have been posted in the groups you belong to.
Blogs
Visit your blog’s comment section and comment back as much as you can
Visit the blogs of your visitors and leave comments for them.
By following these daily tips, you will increase your online reputation, gain the trust of others, build relationships that you can use for your business and also drive more traffic to your website.
